Miscast is back!! Which means my playlist has been littered with Miscast songs but I've been trying to branch out in the music I listen to. I get so complacent and I'm the guy that can eat PB&J everyday and the same is true of music. I listened to Marianas Trench "Ever After" album on repeat for two weeks last semester and never got sick of it. But I've been wanting to try new music lately. I've had the urge for something more. I don't know if it's just music or in general, I'm looking for something. And need a soundtrack for it. But here's what I've been obsessing over this month.

I love the whole Christmas season. I love hearing the same songs again and again. Drinking hot chocolate, red, green, silver, bells, pie, presents, Frosty, all of the things. I especially love holiday movies; they play constantly in my kitchen while I bake batch after batch of cookies, cheesecakes, and booze. I've Got a Crush on Confession Tuesday.

Is there anything better than having a crush on someone? I submit to you, there is not. It's exciting and terrifying all at the same time. I love having a crush on someone. Which is probably why I do it all the time. I do. I crush on people for long periods of time, for a few minutes at a time, my friends, complete strangers I see in the mall... life is one big crush over here. What I've learned, is that there are lots of different kinds of crushes you can have. And we all remember our very first crush, but of different kinds? I'm not even sure I do (and I remember everything), so let's talk about feelings. And categorize them! The Friend Crush.  Letting yourself get close to someone is huge! Day 6: "It Tastes Like Coconut"

I'm trying to remember what happened today. I am exhausted. I went on the Circle Line Cruise around the harbor and then to the American Museum of Natural History which I LOVEd!!! I got up late this morning because all of this is starting to catch up with me. But I had timed it out last night that I would still make it to the train and the Pier on time. Except that yesterday the sky looked a little overcast and I was going to be on a boat so I didn't want to get cold in case it rained or was windy so I brought a sweater with me. Which was a good idea; what wasn't a good idea was recycling. You can drink the tap water here which is AMAZING!!! So I've just been refilling my water bottle and toting it around with me. And yesterday it emptied into Monica's purse, that I've been borrowing, and into my sweater which soaked it up like a sponge.
